Cost: $2100.00 (includes float plane from Seattle, food, lodging, boat excursions and photography instructions.) This wildlife photography workshop-adventure will be hosted by Nanook Lodge in British Columbia, Canada. The lodge is located on Stuart Island, part of the Discovery Islands, east of Vancouver Island. The area is absolutely beautiful and full of wildlife. During the three day workshop there will be field excursions, mostly by boat, targeting bald eagles, black bears, scenery and other wildlife. Bart will be conducting slide presentations about wildlife and landscape photography techniques each day, and there will be time for "one on one" instruction too. Last year's workshop went very well. There were great opportunities to photograph bald eagles, black bear, waterbirds, and a pod of 100 Pacific white-sided dolphins! This year's workshop is timed for the peak of bald eagle and black bear photography. To Register: Call Bart @ 360-678-3882 Message from Bart Rulon: I can testify that the Discovery Islands are fantastic for wildlife photography. I've had the most exciting bald eagle photography of my life, great opportunities to photograph bears, and unforgettable interactions with dolphins on past trips to the lodge. The food is amazing, the accommodations are very cozy, and the scenery from the lodge is beautiful. I'm very excited about this workshop and I hope you will consider making reservations to join me, or let a friend know who might be interested.
